EDIBLE PLANT & WILDFLOWER TOUR

Tickets: $25 per individual

Explore the edible plants and wildflowers of Marion County on our bus tour with Aubrey Streit Krug and David Van Tassel of The Land Institute, and Marilyn Jones of Marion County.

We will stop at Watchhorn Corner, Indian Guide, and Marilyn Jones' homestead. Learn about the unique and beautiful plants of Marion County, enjoy tasty samples of edible plants, listen to Aubrey Streit Krug's poetry, and enjoy music by Susan Mayo, cello, and Elizabeth Wallace, fiddle.

Buses will load at the Historic Peabody City Park, W 2nd Street & Locust Street, Peabody, KS. Sign in from 9:00-9:45. We will leave the park at 10:00 and return at 1:00.

Some walking will be involved, so good walking shoes and a hat are suggested.
