Conservation project with NRCS, Forest Service begins exploring options

Riparian buffer zone project begins

Conceive a joint project with Cyan Meeks, filmmaker, Susan Mayo, composer, to create a documentary about the conservation project. Cyan and Susan met at the 2018 round of Tallgrass Artists Residencies and were looking for a collaborative project. They decided to create a documentary on the conservation project.

September 2019

Connie Bonfy and Prairie Muses joins to form the Marion County Flint Hills Counterpoint Coalition, including the County Commission, County Extension, County Health Department, Eco-deva Marion and Hillsboro, Tabor College, Peabody and Hillsboro Public Schools, Salina Land Institute, Symphony in the Flint Hills, community members,. They meet to discuss the NEA and KCAIC grant proposal.
